  1. the Ancient Greeks called the morning star Φωσφόρος, Phosphoros, the “Bringer of Light”. It would be translated into Latin as Lucifer (“Light Bearer”), a poetic term later used to refer to the fallen angel cast out of heaven(satan, akuma).
